The last time I wrote about Luciano’s Golf Plaque, it had some blue painters tape on it for the creation of the flag pole… As you will be able to tell in the following pics, the tape is certainly my friend when it comes to making something perfectly straight. I actually don’t use it all too often, but when it comes to stripes and geometric shapes, it saves a bunch of time.

I wanted to do stripes around the outer edge to highlight the stripes in the flag post, and turn what might have been a focal point into a theme. I chose different colors though, so the flag and Luciano’s “i” would still stand out.

After the paint had dried and the tape was removed, the plaque looked like this:

There seemed to be so much happening in the bottom half of the piece, and I wanted to balance that out with something else in the sky. So I chose, what else? Clouds!

And here’s the final golf plaque!

Niccki mail them to the address I gave you and give me a total and I will send you a check for plaques and shipping.

Hi Mary Jeanne, I still have their address and I sent it off today! I just sent you a FB message about it! ~Nikki
So cute…I never thought a golf theme would work so nicely as part of the design. Good job!
